History Ehsaas Hum Qadam Program

The Ehsaas Hum Qadam program was initiated on December 02, 2022, to assist disabled persons financially. The program not only started to help people financially but also aims to provide social assistance to the applicants and support them morally. The program covers the disabled people of Pakistan who are not only suffering physically but also financially.

The Hum Qadam program is created for disabled people belonging to low-income groups, which is why it is the authorities keep the process super simple and easy to access for deserving nationals who are not oriented to technology. The validity for this program is one-month, which means you need to repeat the procedure every 30 months, but don’t worry, the application process will not take more than a minute.

This program has a total budget of 3.5 Arab PKR and aims to provide 2,000 PKR every month to deserving disabled nationals. However, considering the inflation rate of the market, the government may increase the payable amount.

The primary vision of this initiative is to increase the social inclusion and subsistence of persons with disabilities in Punjab and decrease the dependency of people with disabilities on their relatives, family, or other social network. This is because most of the disabled people of Pakistan who are not financially stable can’t access the internet and online forms due to a lack of resources and education. In this sequence, this program and its procedure are kept straightforward so that everyone can access the benefit.

• To apply for this program, you need to send a text message to this number: 8171.
• This is the registered official number of the Ehsaas program authorization where you can send your CNIC number, with no other details to apply for this program.
• An auto-generated message will be sent to you which will inform you about the eligibility criteria.
• After reading the criteria, if you’re eligible for the program, send your details and you’re done. This process will not take more than a few minutes.
• When your application gets accepted by the concerned members in charge, you will receive a confirmatory message, and after then you can get the amount from the nearby Ehsaas office.
• Don’t worry about the rest of the procedure as the authorities will check and balance everything on their own, for instance, they will track your identity, financial status, employment status, area, expenses, and everything using the CNIC you provide at the time of application.
